Coos Bay
Public Library will be offering a new book club in January: Cooking the Books, a Cookbook Book Club. This kickoff will be January 8th
from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
in the Cedar Room and will be held the second Friday of every month.
Each month will feature a food
theme. Participants can check out a
cookbook that fits the theme, try a few recipes, and prepare their favorite
dish for the meeting. During the
gathering participants will discuss the cookbook they used and taste everyone’s
creation. January’s theme is Soups and
Breads.
