Empty Bowls Coos County
This year Coos Bay area potters
have created 830 ceramic soup bowls for the Empty Bowls Fundraiser to raise
money for the local food bank. The event occurs on November 7th, from 4pm to 7:30pm at the Oregon
Coast Culinary Institute.
With admission, you can choose one hand made ceramic
bowl that will be filled with soup donated by the OCCI. Adult admission is $15.
Kids tickets are $5 and can select bowls from the "kids table". Extra
bowls can be purchased for $10ea. 100% of the proceeds will go to the local
food bank. There will be a silent auction, beer and wine, and live
music!
We're making tickets available
through Eventbrite to make it super easy for you to buy tickets, donate to the
food bank, or sponsor the event from your own home. Your tickets will be
at Will Call. However, due to the fees associated with Eventbright, we want to
make it very clear that there will be tickets available AT THE DOOR, without
