EOTSC20151023 Sheep Growers - mentorship



The Oregon Sheep Growers Association, in cooperation with OSU Extension and the Oregon Purebred Sheep Breeders Association, is developing a mentorship program for new adult sheep producers in Oregon. The purpose of the mentor program is to develop relationships between new and experienced producers, with the goal of making the knowledge of experienced sheep producers available to new sheep owners. 

We've got a great program lined up! Topics include:
*The Scrapie Program
*Nutrition and Feeding
*Grazing Management
*Lambing Prep Techniques
*Lamb Survival
*and opportunities to ask questions, meet experienced producers, and learn about the industry.
