The Coquille Valley Seed
Community is hosting a FREE celebration of gardening on Thursday, December
10th, 6:00pm at the Owen Building, 201 N. Adams St., Coquille. This is a pot luck event, so bring your
favorite comfort food to share, as well as a plate, eating utensils
(please help us limit the use of paper products during this event), and a
personal beverage. We are encouraging an open forum for gardeners to share
their most memorable gardening and seed saving debacle or success from this
past year. Please join us for these festivities, all are invited. If you are
interested in gardening, seed saving, biodiversity, and/or organic growing
methods the seed library is for YOU! We invite you to help grow and preserve
locally adapted vegetable and herb varieties by participating in the Coquille
Valley Seed Community. For more information visit us on Facebook. Please
help us maintain a fragrance-free environment during these meetings.
Carpooling from Bandon is now
available: Meet ½ hour before the start time of Seed Community meetings/events
at the NE corner of Ray’s parking lot to share a ride.
