On January 9th, February 13th
and March 12th (the second Saturday of each month), the Coos History Museum will be having a team-trivia contest
fundraiser series. Called Trivia Files, the contest(s) start at 6 pm and will run until about 9:30. Interested players are welcome to come to any or all
nights.
All general knowledge trivia
contests, the cost per person per contest is $10 and team size is limited to 8
players. There will be light snacks provided with more substantial food, drink,
and desserts available for purchase. There will be a prize for the first place
team as well as a few other surprises - Gather your friends or come an
make some new ones while testing your trivia knowledge at the Coos History Museum!
Proceeds from this contest
series will go towards furnishing the museum's research library with specialty
storage cabinets to house CHM's collection of film negatives from The World
Newspaper. Donors and Sponsors helping to make these event happen
are Benetti's Italian Restaurant, Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, North
Bend Lanes and Back Alley Pub & Grill, So It Goes Coffeehouse and The World
Newspaper.
