Roseburg VA Medical Center Announces Grand
Opening of New VA Health Care Center in Eugene, Oregon
The Roseburg
VA Medical Center will soon open its new Health Care Center in Eugene
Oregon. On Monday,
January 25th, 2016, VA staff, city leaders, and Veterans’ groups will mark
the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.
Tours of the new clinic will be provided prior to the ceremony
during the month of January. The public is welcome and all Veterans are
encouraged to come see the facility. The new Eugene Health Care Center is
located at 3355 Chad Drive.
The new Health
Care Center will replace the Eugene Community Based Outpatient Clinic on River Road and River Avenue.
The new 120 thousand-square-foot facility will provide primary care,
mental health, women’s health, audiology, physical, speech and occupational
therapy as well as an onsite dispensing pharmacy. In addition to expanding the
existing services offered in Eugene, new services planned for this
clinic include:

Ambulatory Surgery
• Laboratory
• Imaging
• Speech
Pathology •
Ophthalmology • Prosthetics
•
Cardiopulmonary
• Orthopedics • Gastroenterology
•
Dental • Podiatry • Urology
Following
the ceremony the Eugene Health Care Center will begin seeing Veterans
