OMSI at the Library Coos Bay
Public Library The Coos Bay Public Library will be hosting two traveling
exhibits from Oregon's Museum of Science and Industry on Friday, January 22nd at 4:00pm. In “Squid Dissection”, young biologists use proper
dissection techniques to explore the insides of a squid and discover firsthand
how the beak, ink sac and other adaptations help this odd, underwater organism
survive. Don't miss this fantastic opportunity! Registration is required and
participation is limited, so be sure to get your child registered as soon as
possible. Events will be held at the Coos Bay Firehouse. Information is
