Registration has opened for the October
24, 2015 State of the Coast conference, a fun, educational event designed to
bring coastal and noncoastal citizens – scientists, business and community
leaders, fishermen, resource managers, teachers, students, recreationists,
conservationists – together to learn, network, and talk about the current and
future state of Oregon’s marine environment.
The day-long conference takes
place this year at the Hales Center at Southwestern Oregon Community
College.
Registration is $35 (general admission; $25 student admission) including lunch, reception and break
refreshments. Doors open at 8am
and the conference starts at 9am.
