Coos Bay Public Library welcomes Oregon videographer Darrell Jabin on Wednesday, October 21st at 7 p.m.  Mr. Jabin will screen his latest documentary “A Rock and Roll Photographer … The published and unpublished works of Jim Smircich”

Imagine being a photographer who could “hang out” with Janis Joplin, the members of Jefferson Airplane and other bands in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1960’s. 

This 35 minute video captures Jim's story with commentary and dozens of his pictures, including many that have never been published.
